BR is a showcase for talent to the Music Industry and anyone seeking to book or hire talent. We simply are a conduit to display your talents to the right people. We work parallel with you and your affiliates towards the common goal of getting you exposed to labels, venues, and industry people.
Visitors to your artist page can enter their email address to join your fan club. All entries will be managed automatically and can be accessed through log in to your member space.
From there you can send personal newsletters regarding your artistic project(s) directly to your fans. The fan-club database is also necessary to qualify as the “Artist of the Week”.

The process of converting WAVs, AIFFs or SD2s to MP3s is often referred to as “encoding.”
AUDACITY is an open source software and available for free. It will help you to rip audio tracks off your Demo CD or import standard music files to further convert them into Mp3’s. Please, also read the Pdf Help-file, which BETA Records has prepared for your convenience.
All MP3s uploaded on BETA Records are required to be encoded at 128 kbps (for good sound quality)
DATs, ADATs and MDs to MP3s:
Before converting DATs, ADATs and MDs to MP3s, you should first burn them to a CD. If you do not have a burner, ask a friend who owns a burner to help you or contact us directly.
Go to Member Log-in and type in your login name and password. Under “My BETA Records”(left menu item) click on “Client Admin” and then “Upload” to get to the upload page. Next to the song listing click on “Title” or “Lyrics” to perform the necessary changes.
BETA Records does not permit copyrighted audio samples or artwork from movies, television programs, videos, games, radio or CDs to be uploaded without prior written permission from the copyright holder(s).
If you are uploading a remix of another artists recording, you must obtain prior written permission from both the owner of the original recording and the owner of the underlying musical composition. Tracks determined by BETA Records to be “pirated” recordings will be deleted immediately.
Cover songs are allowed on BR, but only after you obtain all necessary license(s) from the publisher(s) of that song. You should be able to identify the publisher(s) of most songs by examining liner notes of recordings containing that song or by searching one or more publicly accessible online databases, such as
While BR reserves the right to require proof that you secured a valid license pertaining to any cover song uploaded to the web site, DO NOT submit license copies unless expressly requested to do so. BR does not accept delivery of unsolicited licenses, copies or correspondence of email confirmations of publishers concerning cover song licenses and will refuse, return or discard all such documents.
Please note, not only are you responsible for obtaining all necessary permissions, licenses and consents prior to posting any content to BR, you may be held liable for any and all costs and expenses (including legal fees) incurred by BR as a result of your unauthorized use of copyrighted materials.
