I have played the piano for many years and have attended various residential music courses. My style owes something to classical, musical theatre, church and jazz music. I do not play rock, post rock 'n roll apart from rockney and I am very selective in the jazz I listen to. My influences include Chas 'n Dave, Derek Nash, Graham Harvey, The Pasadena Roof Orchestra and Hans Abbringh. All the mp3s our band uploads will be our own original work. There are just two founder members, myself and a very accomplished musician who has an exceptional gift at arranging my original material. We are looking for like minded musicians who can help drive the band forward. We are becoming a musical cooperative having a male and a female singer and a flute player, also now a guitarman who sings well. Our genre mainly seems to be moving in the direction of musical theatre and easy listening. If you have ambitions to be a professional we won't mind. I have recently had some buiding work done and have a new studio. My aim is to produce a 60 min original compilation CD each year and have some fun writing, playing and singing in between.
